Privacy notice

What we collect
We use your email and account identifier, plan and subscription status, practice choices, written answers and audio transcripts, feedback, saved dictionary terms and learning progress. If you send a support request, we store your email, topic, subject and message so we can respond and manage the request. If you record an answer, its audio is sent for transcription and may be sent again if you request a retry. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we store subscription identifiers and status, not complete card details.
Why we use it
We use these data to create and secure your account, run conversations, transcribe audio, generate replies and feedback, show history and progress, enforce plan limits, handle subscriptions and answer support or privacy requests. We do not currently use practice content for advertising or sell personal data. Any optional marketing would require a separate choice before it starts.
Service providers
Supabase hosts account and practice data; Vercel hosts the application; Cloudflare Turnstile checks sign-up traffic. When transactional email is enabled, Brevo delivers account verification and recovery messages. Depending on configuration and availability, OpenAI or Groq processes practice text or audio to provide transcription and conversation. When pronunciation assessment is enabled, Microsoft Azure Speech processes the submitted audio and its confirmed transcript to produce voice scores. Stripe processes payments only when billing is enabled. These providers may process data outside Mexico under their own security and privacy terms. We do not claim that audio stays only on your device after you submit it for analysis.
Error monitoring
When enabled, Sentry receives technical details about application errors, such as the error type and code location, so we can fix failures. We remove account details, request data and practice content from error events. Session recording is not enabled. Sentry may process this technical data outside Mexico under its own privacy terms.
Browser storage and retention
Authentication uses session cookies. Your language and voice-speed preferences are stored locally. A pending recording can be stored in this browser and is discarded when sent or removed; a saved draft older than 24 hours is deleted when the app next accesses it. Generated audio for fixed dictionary examples may be cached locally. Practice texts, transcripts, feedback and progress remain in your account until they are deleted or the account is removed, subject to applicable retention obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or objection regarding your personal data, or ask to limit its use or revoke consent where applicable. Send a request from your account email to the contact address shown below, describing what you need; we may ask for reasonable identity verification. You can use the service with typed answers instead of recording audio. Deleting local browser data can remove local preferences and unfinished recordings.
Changes
We will publish changes on this page with an updated date. If a material change requires your consent, we will request it before applying the new use.
